Isn’t it always a toss up between Florence and Milan, the title of fashion capital? While Pitti Uomo’s street style crowd mostly kept to their guns about traditional Italian tailoring, the guys that showed up around Milano Moda Uomo showed a little more urban attitude.

Unlike at Pitti Uomo, there was a noticeable lack of colour in the sun-drenched city, with most stylish gents picking greys, blues, and muted versions of summery yellows or greens. And why should we be surprised? If Firenze’s the romantic capital of the Italian Renaissance, isn’t Milan the edgy industrial powerhouse?
